What are evidence-based practices?

An evidence-based practice is an instructional/ intervention procedure or set of procedures for which researchers have provided an acceptable level of research that shows that the practice produces positive outcomes for children, youth, and/or adults.

What does evidence-based mean?

For a practice to be considered evidence-based it has to be backed by scientific data that proves its effectiveness in improving a condition on a wide range of people.

Why choose evidence-based interventions?

Because evidence-based interventions are scientifically proven to have an effect, your child will most likely benefit from these practices.
